Anti-War Bulletin
The Anti-War Bulletin that accompanies the exhibition World War II – Drama, Symbol, Trauma with its graphic design echoes newspapers of the 1920s and 1930s. It has been subdivided into sections titled after parts of the exhibition, in the order of display: Portents of War, Anti-Semitism, Sonderaktion Krakau, Life in the Ghettos, The Warsaw Uprising, The Holocaust and Artist as a Witness to the Drama. The reader will find curatorial texts by Maria Anna Potocka, reproductions of works with descriptions, poems, fragments of source texts and comments by the social psychologist Professor Michał Bilewicz on examples of propaganda from the 1930s and the war time, as well as fact and comments by the historian Jan Jakub Grabowski.
